Nthaga led Letlapeng to the Premier League two seasons back before leaving to join Rolling Boys. It will be interesting to see how Nthaga will perform against his former side.

Letlapeng have roped in experienced coach, Enos Mmesi. The coach has been with the Ramotswa side since July. He has so far accumulated seven points from four matches.

Mmesi told Mmegi Sport that pre-season preparations were inadequate due to time constraints.

“The other challenge I have is that most of the players who competed in the beMOBILE Premiership last season have left the club and only five remained. We did not manage to sign experienced players and signed players from the Second Division due to various factors such as finances. I have an average squad,” said Mmesi. He admitted that it was difficult to play against a well-equipped team like Rolling Boys.  Mmesi said he has been given a two-year contract to turn around the fortunes of Letlapeng. He said the side is not in a hurry to gain promotion to the Premiership, but to sustain their stay in the First Division.

“I am not under pressure. We just have to go out there and play with caution,” he said.

For his part, Nthaga said he was proud of what he did for Letlapeng in his tenure despite the challenges he faced.

Despite the fact that he does not want to dwell on the past and have no grudge against the club, Nthaga said he has done all the necessary preparations for the Saturday match. He said the aim is to walk away with maximum points.

“My players are all back and we are ready for the match. We want to redeem ourselves from the loss we suffered against Prisons XI,” said Nthaga.  In the other matches, Modipane United host Sharps Electrical in Modipane while Lesirane City welcome Mochudi Rovers in Tsolamosese.

Notwane take the long trip to Tsabong where Black Rangers will be waiting. Mogoditshane Fighters entertain Black Forest in Gabane while Uniao Flamengo Santos and Prisons battle it out at Galaxy Stadium in Jwaneng. All matches kick off at 3.30pm.
