Kutlwano target sixth Capital Motors title

Kutlwano have dominated the competition, winning five out of the seven editions since its inception in 2008. They have won the last two editions and stand a good chance of making it three in a row and sixth overall.
Kutlwano tactician, Dopp Popo said everything has gone according to plan and they are more than ready to reclaim the title. He said they have worked on the mistakes they made when they played BDF VI in the semi-final.
“This tournament is very important because it is a Zone VI qualifier.
We are not going to take anything for granted. We have been doing well this season and mathematically we have won the league,” he said. Tracy Chaba, Karabo Molefa and Daisy Golekanye are some of the players expected to lead Kutlwano to glory.
Popo was purring about Chaba who has had an outstanding season. He said Pauline Moribame could do wonders when she is having a good day. He urged Kutlwano supporters to rally behind the team.
Mafolofolo coach, Kabo Ntshinogang down played the huge task ahead of them, saying it was just another final and nothing unusual about it.
He told Mmegi Sport that despite playing Kutlwano three times in the league and losing on all occasions, they are ready to cause an upset. He said the moral is high in the camp and they are hopeful of walking away as champions. Kutlwano made it to the final after beating BDF VI 3-1 in the semifinal in Serowe last weekend, while Mafolofolo eased past Kalavango 3-1.
Meanwhile, BDF VI and Kalavango will battle it out for the third and fourth spots respectively.
The champion pockets P25,000 while the second-placed team gets P14,000.
Third-placed team walks away with P10,500 with the fourth team receiving P8,500. Capital Motors tournament is used as a qualifier for the Zone VI club championships.
