BNSC suspends Judo VP

BSNC chairperson, Solly Reikeletseng confirmed the suspension saying it was over leaked information to the media.
Reikeletseng said Kim’s suspension followed an agreement reached at a BJF mediatory meeting a month ago, that members should not divulge information to third parties.
BNSC had initiated the meeting in a bid to find solutions to internal wranglings within the BJF.
According Reikeletseng, the meeting sought BNSC to mediate on various issues that were driven by governance and leadership concerns at BJF.
“Yes I can confirm that Kim has been suspended until further notice following his breach of the agreement made at the mediatory meeting.
It was agreed that all grievances and other issues pertaining to the federation are to be dealt with internally until, the BNSC has received all concerned parties’ formal affidavits and written concerns, hence Kim did not adhere to the agreement,” Reikeletseng said.
He could not be drawn into revealing the contents of the suspension letter but indicated that it was agreed that in the event of any breach, the BNSC would have no option but suspend the member.
Reikeletseng said the BNSC is waiting for formal submissions from aggrieved BJF parties.
“Two months is yet to elapse and we are eagerly waiting to hear from BJF and all concerned parties regarding their concerns in writing. BNSC will then finalise the BJF issues for the betterment of the code,” Reikeletseng said.
Kim confirmed he had received the suspension letter and responded through his lawyers, although he did not divulge further details.
Meanwhile, Reikeletseng also confirmed the suspension of BNSC desk officer Malebogo Raditladi and said disciplinary procedures are on-going.
“It would be illegally for me to divulge the processes in detail or the outcome, but we are dealing with the matter as I speak,” Reikeletseng said.
Allegations are rife that Raditladi’s suspension is somehow linked to the BJF’s Swaziland trip early this year, an issue Reikeletseng would not be drawn into discussing.
