Miss Africa in hunt for TV presenter

The reality show will focus on the tasks and activities the top 15 finalists are involved in as part of their race to the title of the diamond-studded crown. The show will be broadcast on an international television channel that is yet to be announced.

“We call on all interested Batswana males and females aged between 18 and 25 years of age, ” Bruce Nkgakile, the Miss Africa CEO, said.

Nkgakile said applications should include a profile, references, photos and additional material that could be used to enhance chance to be shot listed for the auditions. Applicants should send their applications at info@missafrica-pageant.com.

Applicants must be fluent in Setswana, interesting, confident and good looking. The Miss Africa office will communicate with applicants who would have qualified for auditions. An audition fee is P100.

Meanwhile, mobile voting for local musicians and MCs that will be hosting the grand finale on November 7 is still on.

For one to vote for their favourite artist or MC to take part during the night they should vote by SMSing the word MC or artist depending on which category they are voting for, then the number of the person they nominate to the number 17227. Yvonne Chaka Chaka and The Soil will grace the grand finale at Ditshupo Hall.
