The funny woman is scheduled to perform at Boipuso Hall on October 30.

The show is dubbed, “One Night Only”. Karabo Musa of Soulfood Comedy told Showbiz that Anne was impressed with Botswana on her first visit last year and is more than willing to come back. Musa explained that Anne, who is currently on a world tour, is excited about coming back. She explained that the comedian who has made a name for herself around the world, had to squeeze the Gaborone show into her tight schedule.

“She already has her whole year planned out. When we asked her to come back she was so excited saying she would drop almost anything to come back to Botswana,” she said.

“She was very impressed. She says of all the countries she has visited, Botswana and Batswana were more welcoming. She wanted to make sure she comes back. I couldn’t believe it myself,” she said.

On what they learned from last year’s show, Musa said that this time around they have decided to look for a bigger space for the show.

“She is a definite crowd puller. Last year’s two night shows at the Molapo Piazza and at Thapong Visual Centre were sold out and this year she will be at an even bigger space with a bigger capacity.”

Her supporting acts on the night will be locals, Enigma, Charles, Thulane Tau and South Africa’s Celeste Nthuli.

Musa said Soulfood Comedy would take the show to Mafikeng at the Mmabatho Convention Centre on October 31. Anne recently released her latest copy dubbed Best of Kansiime Anne 8: Best Compilation of 2015.

Tickets will be on sale at P250 for general tickets, P450 double and P600 for VIP.
