Two perish in Bluetown car crash

In an interview with Tatitown police station commander Edward Leposo said that the driver, who was a little bit intoxicated, lost control of his vehicle after failing to negotiate a turn.

He further said that after failing to negotiate the turn just near Bluetown hiking spot, the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and crashed onto a stationary trailer.

According to Leposo, there were three people in the car including the driver at the time the accident took place.

He said that the driver sustained minor injuries whilst his friends aged between 30 and 40 years died on the spot.

Tatitown police chief said that when the driver noticed that his friends were dead and trapped in the car he called the police for assistance.

Leposo said nothing could be done to save the passengers and they were declared dead at the hospital after being removed from the car.

He added that the driver was treated and discharged from the hospital.
