Organisations that the President has already interacted with include among others Business Botswana, BOFEPUSU. BOCONGO and the Media Fraternity.

In the last parliamentary break the president consulted more within his constituency, Gaborone Bonnington North.. But owing to his position as a national leader as well, he has seen it proper to this time during the parliament break, interact with others beyond his constituency.

Through these consultations the President hopes to use part of the feedback he received to inform UDC policies and his response to state of the nation address in the coming session of parliament.

On the 29th September the President will travel abroad on party business. He will only return after ten days.

The Secretary General of the party, Cde Ndaba Gaolathe got back to the country over the weekend from the United Kingdom.

He was chosen from a number of individuals from across the world who have shown outstanding abilities and leadership qualities through the UK Government’s International Leaders Programme.  We celebrate the acknowledgement of his skills and abilities and believe that the interactions he has had during this trip will help grow not only the UDC but the country as a whole.
