Four goals from Segolame Boy, a brace from Joel Mogorosi and a goal each from Motsholetsi Sikele, Maano Ditshupo and Jerome Ramatlhakwana guided Rollers to the league’s biggest win of the season. The teams went to recess with Rollers comfortably 4-0 up.

Satmos woes were further compounded at half time when goalkeeper, Kagiso Tshelametsi, suffered an injury.  Rollers’ coach, Mark Harrison applauded his players for a good showing on the day. “It was a good performance from my players. They showed good attitude and professionalism for the entire 90 minutes. It is always good to win in every game,” Harrison said. He said Boy’s outstanding performance was bound to come anytime soon as the midfielder has been hard at training. The Englishman, who arrived at the Rollers’ camp at the beginning of the season, said he is yet to settle on his squad as he is trying out different players and formations. “It is work in progress. The players have to know me and I also have to know them,” he said.

Despite being the only team yet to lose a game this season, the Briton is adamant that he does not feel any pressure going into a tough assignment against Gaborone United. “Of course it is a derby, the Gaborone derby. But we will treat it like any other game. There is no pressure going into the game, the important thing is to get a good result,” he said. Rollers are at the top of the log with 20 points after scoring 22 goals in eight games while they conceded only four goals. Satmos on the other hand sit in position 16 with four points. The Selebi-Phikwe based side has scored only four goals, while they conceded 19 goals.

Meanwhile, Harrison was named September coach-of-the-month while Police XI Tapiwa Gadibolae won the player-of-the-month award.

In another game played on Sunday, BDF XI beat Gilport Lions through Lerato Mosweu’s solitary goal.

History was made during the game as an all female referees’ cast took charge of a Premiership match for the first time in history. Julia Lekgowe was at the centre while Tshepiso Ramothogobeng and Yvonne Letota were her assistants.
