Over 300 cyclists for Mascom Cycle Challenge

Sponsored to the tune of P70,000, the event kicks off on Sunday morning, 7.30am at the Airport Junction Mall to Rasesa. The cycle challenge also aims to build a relationship with the cycling community, which will allow Mascom to reach a niche audience.

The Mascom Cycle challenge will comprise five categories such as the 100km elite race designed for riders who have more racing and cycling experience. It is the major attraction which will see avid cyclists battling it out on the A1 road. There will be prizes for the first, second and third male and females’ categories. Entry is P200 for adults and P150 for juniors (16 and 22yrs).

The 60km fun ride targets corporate teams and individuals. There will be prizes for the first, second and third people to reach the finish line. Entry is P150. There is also the 60km - (corporates category), where the entry is P3,000. Another race, the 20km race, whose entry is P75, and targets corporate teams and beginners.

The kiddies race has been included as a way to encourage the young ones. There will be a kiddies ride around the Airport Junction. This category is free.

The Cycle Challenge is a partnership between Mascom, Tsela Riders, KBL and Khumo Properties.
