Stop the madness in administration of justice

We are aghast at seeing this side of the coin tossed to expose the dirty linen in the chambers.  The audit was done, irregularities were found and transparency factored.  But what happened to discretion in addressing such an internal matter and ensuring the wrongly dispensed and received monies were recovered?

The Judges are treated like dirty criminal who must be “bewigged” and hang their heads in shame.  One suspects there is a bone to chew, a dirty scoundrel of a matter.  It should have been enough to have the Judges licking their wounds and starving over the deductions for the months to come!  But no, somebody just reduces the institution to this sordidness.  The whole thing smacks of poor management, add to that a manipulative and divisive type of working environment.

The Administration of Justice reported and exposed its own lack of accountability.  As our leadership considers this issue, one desires to see a dignified, properly “robed” and protected Administration of Justice. Fairness and maturity ought to be exercised in addressing irregularities in the Judges conditions of service and  welfare.  Not surly  vengefulness.

On the positive side, this episode should make the judges humble.  For those who curry favour, their mettle is questionable. The fear factor is likely to be at play.  We need bold, diligent and impartial Judges

Focus should be on those who steal irrecoverable millions who are absolutely corrupt with power and are seemingly immune to suspension from their lofty positions.  Where are the Judges?  Delays, smokescreens and foolery at work!

The big question is, what is our esteemed leadership doing about those who steal millions that are likely not to be recovered and seem to be immune to suspensions from their oh, so lofty positions?  Where are the Judges?
