Radipotsane had a successful sojourn after he joined the side when it was still in the First Division. Radipotsane becomes the first coach of the new season to be shown the door.

Galaxy chairman, Njabulo Gilika confirmed the decision to part ways with Radipotsane.

He said the two parties held numerous meetings regarding the performance of the team, as results were not forthcoming. He said they both agreed that it was better for Radipotsane to step down. Gilika said it was a mutual understanding and they did not have any ill feelings. He said the coach has even offered his services if needed. Gilika said the decision was taken in the best interest of the club. He said it was coincidental that the decision was taken when Extension Gunners coach, Pio Paul is on suspension.

However, he said Paul  is not their target.

He said the current technical team will hold fort and prepare the team for the weekend fixture. Matshidiso Moseki is the acting coach. Galaxy is currently 12th on the beMOBILE Premiership log with six points after seven games.

The side has won just one match, drawing three and losing three.

Radipotsane is Peter Butler’s assistant coach at the Zebras. Expectations were high that Galaxy would do well in their maiden season after signing experienced campaigners. They have the likes of Tebogo Sembowa, Tebogo Sesome, Musa Ohilwe and Zebras defence stalwart, Boitumelo Mafoko in their ranks.
