The artists consist of rappers Tshego Ketshabile who goes by the stage name Tshego and Benito Kamoto, popularly known as Gemini Major, as well as Carpo, who will also be the host for the night.

The show will also feature South African artist, Veezo, who has worked with several local musicians. It will be the first time that Family Tree artists perform at the same event in Botswana.  The Kosher Nights event is themed after Tshego’s new single titled, Out Here.

Tshego has performed in Botswana on several occasions as a solo artist, while Carpo has only featured as Casper Nyovest’s entourage. This will be Gemini Major’s first performance in the country.

Kosher Nights Sessions director, Vaugh ‘VH’ Mutambarah said their relationship with Family Tree is not entirely new.

“We have brought Cassper Nyovest here on two separate occasions. Tshego and Veezo have performed at the Kosher Night sessions once before. This was before the Family Tree record label was established,” he said. VH said the South African artists would be joined by local acts such as DJ Macx, Ozzy The Great, KY Carter and Izzy who recently released a track titled Razi.

Tickets for the much talked about Casper Nyovest Fill Up The Dome concert will also be on sale at the event.

“Our Kosherholics should expect a lot of high energy performances from the performing artists during the jam-packed night,” he said.  All artists in the line-up are favorites to a number of young urbanites.

The host, Carpo, earned himself a following from listeners after his comical feature on the Slyza Tsotsi hit single by Major League.

VH added that apart from the musical entertainment, there would also be a game booth with a PS4 gaming station.

The Kosher Night Sessions predominantly cater for hip-hop and RnB music lovers in the urban metropolis.
