Mogwe relishes international tour

Mogwe’s lined up performances will be staged in three continents Africa, Europe and America, performing in more than five cities.
Mogwe’s PR and marketing manager, Tlamelo Motshubi, told Showbiz that the songstress’ itinerary starts in Ethiopia where she is scheduled to perform at the Botswana Day celebrations dinner hosted by the Botswana Embassy in Ethiopia. Mogwe is scheduled to leave for Addis Ababa today.
After the three-day visit she will return home to join her group the Re Batswana ensemble to prepare for their European tour. Re Batswana ensemble will perfom in Norway, Sweden and other European countries. They depart for Europe on September 27.
The year 2015 has been good musically for Mogwe who has also been nominated for the AFRIMMA’s that will take place in Texas, USA next month. She is nominated for the Best Female Southern Africa.
Upon rounding off the European tour with Re Batswana ensemble she will head straight to Texas for the awards ceremony. After the awards she is set to travel to Atlanta and Los Angeles for learning and networking purposes before returning home.
The songstress was quoted saying, “I am excited and honoured to be considered as a representation of what my country has to offer in the arts. It will be a privilege to fly our flag high as well as take this as a learning opportunity to grow my craft and share that with my fellow youth when I return.”
A few weeks ago Mogwe launched her much anticipated debut album Transition at BotswanaCraft where she shared the stage with the likes of Lister Boloseng and Gaone Rantlhoiwa.
Her music has also been making airwaves on international music channels such as Channel O.
