Boitumelo Mafoko
Mafoko was among the best performers on the day. The Jwaneng Galaxy utility player showed experience and maturity at the back. He commanded his defence very well and made three timely tackles in the match. 8/10
Tebogo Sesome
He was never threatened and only had a one-on-one situation with Aristide Bance in the first half but dealt with him very well. He lost possession once down the right but recovered well to reclaim the ball. 7/10
Mosha Gaolaolwe
Did well to contain forward Bance who was eventually substituted. He lost the ball twice in his own half but recovered well to win back possession. For a player who is still trying to establish himself in the national team, Gaolaolwe did more than expected against experienced campaigners. 7/10
Galabgwe Moyana
Moyana had an eventful afternoon despite lack of game time in the league. He was deployed in a more defensive position and he did well to contain dangerous man, Jonathan Pitroipa. When going forward the Township Rollers man proved to be a menace to the defenders and delivered a few telling crosses in the box. 8/10
Kabelo Seakanyeng
One of the outstanding players who were very impressive over the weekend. He positioned himself very well and also delivered a few good crosses in the box. In addition, he defended well and his wing was lively throughout. 8/10
Ofentse Nato (c)
He did the basics right and provided good cover for the defence. He was not that mobile as he usually does which gave Lebogang Ditsele freedom to play. 7/10
Mogakolodi Ngele
Ngele showed an element of maturity on Saturday. The Mamelodi Sundowns man is known for his creativity other than defending, but on Saturday Ngele was often seen tracking back to help the team defend. Ngele and Moyo complimented each other well when going forward. In fact it was the former who sold defenders a dummy in the first half but Moyo fumbled with the goalie to beat. 7/10
Hendrick Moyo
Moyo might have missed a clear cut opportunity but he had a fairly good match. Moyo is what Tshepiso ‘Sox’ Molawnta was to the Zebras a few years ago. He lacks predatory instincts but possess the sheer athleticism, which keeps the defence busy. He kept the Stallions defence on its toes. 7/10
Omaatla Kebatho
The former ECCO City Greens man struggled and pulled his hamstring late in the first half, which led to his substitution. 5/10
Lebogang Ditsile
The Gilport Lions midfielder silenced his critics on Saturday. He was the best player on park. He delivered a defence splitting pass, which led to the goal. Ditsile displayed much creativity when going forward and guarded the midfield very well together with Nato. 9/10
Joel Mogorosi
Since his recent return from a three-year stint in the South African Premier League, Mogorosi is yet to recapture the form that made him a household name a few years ago. Having come into the match late in the first half Mogorosi proved that you cannot buy experience with his well-taken goal just after the break.
He showed greater composure in box and picked a spot to beat the visitors goalie, Sanou Germoni, with a well taken low drive shot. 7/10
