Bance has joined Chippa United after spending the off-season club hunting in South Africa while Pitriopa plays in Qatar after moving from France.

The two were prominent during Burkina Faso’s fine run, which saw them reach the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations final.

They lost 1-0 to Nigeria, but Pitriopa was voted the player of the tournament while Bance became a popular figure for his unorthodox hairstyle.

Burkina Faso coach Gernot Rohr has an array of stars in his 24-man squad with the majority scattered all over Europe.

Dangerous midfielders, Alain and Betrand Traore will make this week’s trip to Francistown.

Burkina Faso, who has featured in the last two Cup of Nations finals, opened their campaign for a slot to the 2017 edition with a 2-0 victory over Comoros last June.

The Zebras on the other hand suffered a 2-0 reversal at the hands of Uganda in Kampala.
