Coach, Onthusitse Kootswele praised his charges for their performance in the two opening fixtures and said losing to Galaxy could be a blessing in disguise. “It was very critical to win the opening game and the boys came to the party. I believe in my boys and I know they have a lot up their sleeves to surprise many. Yes we lost to Jwaneng Galaxy, but the boys played according to script.  “We played really well and we could only take the positives out of that game. What is important is how we bounce back from the defeat,” Kootswele said.

Kootswele said the challenge that still lies ahead is lack of sponsorship, although he said they are in early talks with one company.

“We are a new team and companies are reluctant to answer our plea. It is a huge challenge. We have never slept since we were promoted. There is a lot that comes with being in the Premiership than in First Division.

“We had anticipated this that is why we keep knocking on different doors. At the moment, we are in talks with one company and negotiations are at an infant stage. There is nothing we can disclose at the moment.”

Kootswele pleaded with companies in the region in particular to help in growing the talent which he said could be the pride of the nation tomorrow.
