Finance student from Botho University Kesaobaka Pelokgale (22) who is the managing director and his two partners Alipo Gachala and Wililani Mantsee who are both aged 31-years claim that GHSS offers unrivalled security services countrywide.

The business was established late last year.“

We have noticed that most security companies in the country offer similar services and lack innovation. GHSS is a game changer in the security field,” Pelokgale said.

Pelokgale explained that the business offers services such as GSM sim card operated security alarms, which are completely wireless.  He said the alarms report directly to a customer’s cell phone when triggered. The GSM alarms can also be interlinked with Internet Protocol (IP) Camera, which is also wireless.  The IP camera send a live feed to a customer’s smart phone detailing what is happening in the house when the alarm is triggered. He further said that GHSS also offer car camcorders to the customers. Camcorders are cameras that are mounted inside a customer’s car.

The system means that a customer can access the location of his or her car at any given time through viewing a live feed transmitted to your smart phones. In addition the company offers biometrics & access control clocking systems usually used by organisations as a tool used by employees to access company premises.

The business also provides GSM sim card systems used to monitor and control geysers, air conditioners, fire sprinkling detectors, pepper sprays and utility meters through a smart phone.

“ We provide products that are both innovative and deliver our users automated control, to sit back and relax while their security needs are catered for,” he emphasised.

He says that the equipment they use is sourced from a supplier outside the country who he does not want to name for competition reasons.

Any business has its own challenges and GHSS is no exception.

“Because the business is self funded we are still struggling financially, which has resulted in the company not satisfying demands for our products, which is spiraling.

“We are however in the process of approaching the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture for funding in a bid to grow our business.”

Pelokgale noted that one of GHSS’s main goals is to be a highly recognised and a go to company in the security industry.

Currently the business has other employees other than the three partners. “The business is trying to find its footing. We will hire more people once we are established,” he said.
