Mosojane may return to BCP

Mosojane decamped to the ruling party in 2013 where it is alleged, he was not given the welcome he had expected. Yesterday, Mosojane said since he currently does not belong to any political party, he was considering going back to his former home. “At this point, I cannot disclose which political party I will be joining. I was not fired from the BCP, therefore it still remains my political home, I might as well return to my long time political home,” said Mosojane.
The former councillor said that he has registered interest in re-joining the BCP to his former comrades who have welcomed the idea. “I want to do things formally first then that is when I will be able to disclose openly which political party I will be joining. I think in a few weeks I will be in a position to say more,” said Mosojane. He said that he is considering writing a letter to the BCP requesting to re-join them. He went on to reveal that when he joined the BDP, he applied for a membership card but to date has not yet received it.
“I have been waiting for my card and have not been given a reasonable answer to what has delayed it, therefore I think it’s just a waste of time to say I belong to the BDP without a membership card,” he said.
Mosojane said that without a membership card he currently does not belong to any political party and is free to decide which party to join. Asked about Mosojane’s interest in re-joining them, the BCP North East region chairperson Lazarus Tlou said that they have not heard of his intended moves.
“Mosojane is a veteran politician and as the BCP we would appreciate having him back in our party because we have worked well with him in the past,” said Tlou. He said that the doors are always open for BCP to welcome new members as it is their mission to attract new members.
