The South African gospel artists who have been performing together in different concerts in their home country are set to stage a three-hour performance.  The concert has been titled ‘We Will Worship and Lilly Million Live in Gaborone’.  The facilitator of the event, Blessing Maphosa, told Showbiz that the concert is dedicated to gospel lovers around the country.

“It is open to people of different churches and denominations as we will be celebrating gospel music.   It’s strictly a musical night, not a church service,” he said.

“This concert will be an eye-opener.  People tend to have a certain perception towards gospel music,” explained Maphosa. He said the 15-member band, We Will Worship, and Million will do a number of collaborations on stage during the night.

We Will Worship, which is a collective of young musicians recently won the Song of the Year Award with their song YHWH at the Mzansi Gospel Awards, while Million won the Female Artist of the Year Award.

Prior to their concert in Botswana they will stage a number of performances in Swaziland and Lesotho. Local gospel acappella ensemble HSQ, which recently celebrated a 10-year anniversary, will be the opening act during the concert.

Tickets for the concert can be purchased at Cross Gold music store at Sebele Mall.
