Though he was evasive about who he is working with on the album, DJ Sunlite told Showbiz that his new offering is titled Tshola Uzwe meaning ‘Take And Taste’, and the songs will be in different local languages such as Sekgalagadi, Setswana and others.

“The album is purely house music.  I can’t reveal much, but I will wait for the right moment. I have my own stable called Ditedu Music Promotions,” he said DJ Sunlite explained that he prefers to spin his discs at corporate functions and parties rather than at clubs.

He said that even though there are more than 15 DJs in Gantsi, he does not struggle much to put food on the table, adding that he plays at gigs almost every weekend.

“I like playing at these functions rather than at the club because in Gantsi there are quite a number of us in the same industry,” DJ Sunlite said.

He, however, said the greatest challenge in Gantsi is during the winter season because nights are extremely cold, which forces night crawlers to stay indoors.

He said since he is not a club DJ, this is the time that he gets stiff competition from the clubs. DJ Sunlite said he is grooming boys and girls in Gantsi who are interested in becoming DJs.

He said he always advises them to concentrate on finishing school before they venture into the music industry.
