Sultan, who has been touring Africa, raising funds for his charity is also scheduled to engage in charity work whilst in Botswana over the weekend.

Sultan, who had romantic interests in hotshots housemate from Botswana, Goitseone Kgaswane will also display his comedy skills at the former Gaborone Sun hotel, now Avani hotel at a comedy night to be hosted by South Africa’s representative, Nhlanhla Nhlapo. The comedy night is slated for next Saturday. Sultan last year walked away $300,000 richer after beating Nigeria’s Tayo Fanira to the prize money.

Meanwhile, this year’s Big Brother Africa is rumoured to be marred in controversy. It is alleged that there is a high chance the African number one reality show may not feature this year. The international media reported that some of the reasons, apart from the fact that the show may have lost its popularity, are that the sponsors also have felt the pinch.

According to their official Facebook page, an article is quoted as saying, ‘ Last year’s import duties alone ran into millions. In the current economic climate, one has to choose wisely if your sponsorship will bring returns. “Public interest has dwindled and the show needs a huge overhaul.”
