In a highly contested club level tournament, boxers displayed exceptional level of fitness, as most fights were action jam-packed throughout the contest. Tebogo Rennie of Francistown Boxing Club beat Calvin Modikwa of Glen Valley Boxing club 2-0.  Rennie had earlier been disqualified for illegal stunts, but the adjudicating board later reversed the decision to give him the win. The Francistown based club demonstrated a high-quality level of preparedness as Camm Manewe also soiled Willox Garethata of Mafika Boxing Club to a 2-1 defeat.

In the 52kg category, Mohammed Otukile of Mafika who is also in the national team camp in preparations for the Africa Games illustrated what a competent boxer he is, as he demolished Kesaobaka Nko of BMC to a 3-0 whitewash. The youthful Kutlwano Ogaketse, who is also in camp preparing for the 2015 Samoa Olympics, also displayed experience when he knocked out Moagi Modori of Orapa Boxing Club two minutes into the opening round.

Opelo Modungwa of Mafika defeated Mompati Gamamotse of Gantsi on unanimous decision. Onkarabile Mothibedi of Sir Seretse Khama Barracks (SSKB) displayed boxing skills as he downed Godfrey Onkabetse of Mafika with a 3-0 victory. Gillian Ditshwene of Prisons overcame Tumelo Basupi of UB with a 3-0 score in the 60kg category. In what was not expected, Kelapile Mogokolwane of New-Xade boxing club was defeated through a knockout in the last round of three by Mmoloki Thipe of Gantsi Boxing club.

On another level of the tournament, international boxers from Lesotho arrived in Gaborone on Saturday morning and only had few hours to rest. However, they proved their mettle as they gave the adjudicating board hard time in making decisions due to a tactically superior squad they had. In spite of the controversies and their losses, the Lesotho side gave the local boxers some tough assignments. The much experienced Morokwe Mokhotho gave Kefentse Molalapata of Botswana a demolishing 3-0 defeat in a one sided fight. In a Botswana against Botswana fight, Tefo Rammupudu trounced Khumonyane Basuping to a 3-0 walkover whilst Kabelo Bagwasi beat Bokamoso Molaodi in a highly tactical fight.

Oteng Oteng easily walked over Khauhelo Mothunyane of Lesotho to a 3-0 defeat; Mmusi Tswiige of Botswana beat Bakang Khoai of Lesotho through a knockout in round two. The local boxer, Kagiso Bagwasi defeated Qhobosheane Mohlerepe of Lesotho 3-0.

The national team, which is currently in camp used the games to prepare for 11th African Games scheduled for September 4-19, 2015 in Brazzaville, Congo.
