Moshupa woman sustains burn injuries after good time

According to the Station Commander Superintendent Onneetse Gagogosha, the victim arrived home at around 11:30 pm, after a night of revelry at Ntshaleoto Bar.  He said the victim, who was still hospitalised at Princesses Marina Hospital by yesterday, suffered severe burns when flames engulfed the whole house.

Still in Lotlhakane West, a 43-year-old man sustained severe head injuries after he was hit by a 31-year-old man with a stone.

Gagogosha said that the victim was trying to mediate  between the suspect and his girlfriend. He said the victim was still hospitalised  Thursday while the assailant is in police custody where he is likely to face a single count of grievous bodily harm.

Still in Moshupa, Gagogosha said they are investigating a rape case in which a 19-year-old female was attacked and raped on her way from a tuckshop at around 9:30pm.

The victim told the police that the suspect initially proposed love before he attacked and raped her. He said investigations are still ongoing and the suspect is still at large. Meanwhile Gagogosha said that no serious accident was registered in his area during the holidays.
