These tours will see a number of upcoming artists such as musicians and dancers from different backgrounds taking the center stage during the nationwide tours.

Artists and events management company Down Town Groovestainment has organised these tours.

Down Town Groovestainment Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Oteng Segoba told Showbiz that this is a dance and empowerment promotion movement that is set to grace a number of clubs around the country.

“The show is to be characterised by only locally-based artists with a majority of them being new to the industry,” said Segoba who believes that this will be a step to identify and develop local talent.

He said as Down Town Groovestainment they have a number of objectives.

“We want to inculcate the right attitude, mould Botswana talent and represent it on an international level and to also grow arts into careers.”  A number of upcoming and established artists have previously pleaded for performance time stating that they rarely perform to big crowds. “We were inspired by the struggle that young artistes face, so we decided to give them a helping hand,” said Segoba.

He said interested upcoming artistes could get in touch with them through their various social network accounts.

The first Clubactivation will be held in Lobatse at Lizard News Nite club where it will feature the likes of Fast Lane, Danielle Swagger, Redd, Top Diva, Flash Boi and Krystal Outlaws.
