Sankoyo Bush Bucks chairperson, William Dikgosana confirmed that Kebatho had joined the South African side as a free agent.

The burly striker joined the Maun side from ECCO City Greens in January and was supposed to receive a signing on fee of P10, 000. However, Sankoyo reportedly failed to honour the agreement and the initial contract was nullified on the basis of breach of contract.

Meanwhile the club has not received offers for their Zimbabwean striker, Morris Ruzivo who was outstanding last season. Big clubs are expected to swoop on the deadly striker who scored 13 goals in his debut season.

It is reported that newly promoted side, Jwaneng Galaxy was interested in running the rule over the player, but Ruzivo was interested in an outright deal. The player is said to be eyeing a move away from a team, which impressed on it’s debut.

The club might lose two defenders, Modiredi Matengu and Refilwe Senyane to Township Rollers. Sankoyo assistant coach, Gadimang Tiiso said the former champions have approached them over towering central defender, Matengu and Senyane.  He said talks between the two clubs are at an advanced stage.

Orapa United have lured enterprising midfielder, Wabuya Aebe. There is talk the team may lose more players with goalkeeper Basimanebotlhe Moilwa reportedly on his way back to Nico United. Sankoyo players are reportedly owed outstanding salaries for more than six months with many keen to quit the club.

To plug the expected gap, Tiiso said they are planning to sign two Zimbabwean players, a midfielder and a striker.

He also said they are eying four players from the lower divisions.  South African striker, Lovers Mofokeng was spotted training with Bush Bucks on Tuesday as the team prepared for Kabelano Charity Cup next week Saturday.

Mofokeng played for FC Satmos last season. Tiiso however refused to shed light on Mofokeng’s presence.
