Goitseone Phoko 7

Not a bad performance from the Gaborone United goalkeeper who made some good saves. He cannot be faulted for the goal he conceded. His ball distribution was also good on the day.

Obonye Moswate 6

He did well defensively although he offered little going forward especially with crosses.

Edwin Olerile 6

He was solid at the back before he was substituted towards the end of the first half with an injury.

Mosha Gaolaolwe 6

His game is improving rapidly. He was not only solid at the back, but also started most of the movements going forward by the Zebras. He did well against Lesotho’s top marksman, Thapelo Tale until he (Tale) was substituted in the second half.

Tebogo Sosome 7

Many questioned his inclusion into the national team recently, but the former Gaborone United man has proved his critics wrong on Saturday. He positioned himself well and rarely put his foot wrong.

Ofentse Nato 6

He was again influential in the middle of the park and covered his defence well. As the only holding midfielder in the Zebras line up on Saturday, he did not seem to be overwhelmed and communicated well with his young teammates.

Kabelo Seakanyeng 7

His speed and skill gave Lesotho fullbacks a torrid time on the right. Lesotho technical team deployed two men every time Seakanyeng received the ball, but in most cases, he managed to beat them although his final pass was at times poor.

Segolame Boy 6

He seemed absent in the first half and lost possession easily. He looked confused as to what role he should play with the Zebras having started with two other attackers, Omaatla Kebatho and Hendrick Moyo. He picked up in the second half although he was not at his usual best.

Omaatla Kebatho 6

With Boy not in his element, Kebatho at times looked isolated in front. He also did not get quality service from his wingers, but troubled Lesotho defence every time he had the ball. He had the chance early in the second half after beating the goalkeeper, but failed to hit the target.

Hendrick Moyo 7

His work rate was impressive. He was always involved in attack and also dropped deep every time the Zebras lost possession. He took a good shot in the second half, but Lesotho goalkeeper did well to parry it away.

Mpho Kgaswane 8

The youngster seems to be enjoying his game not only at Gaborone United but also in the national team colours.

He was a thorn in Lesotho defence with his skill but his main undoing was the final pass. His crosses were always out of reach of fellow attackers. He at times held onto the ball too long.

Substitute

Katlego Koobake 7

He replaced Edwin Olerile towards the end of the first half and immediately got involved. Known for his delivery of telling crosses, Koobake again did not disappoint on Saturday and his crosses were only on point.
