Health Generation � the juicy lane

From a distance juice and smoothie bar, Health Generation looks like any other goodies store, but once you move closer, everything changes.
The lime green walls, fruits displayed on the counter and the fresh fruity aroma will quickly entice you to Health Generation, a small but well built juice bar at Airport Junction.
I always pass this small green outlet when I am running my errands at Airport Junction mall, but this past week I decided to give myself sometime to really sit and observe what would be my new favourite place perhaps.
The first thing I experienced when I stepped into juice bar was the great hospitality by the waiters who greeted me with glowing smiles.
I sat at one of the tables waiting for one of them to offer me service. While waiting, something caught my eye -health quotes written on the green walls. Some of them were funny and interesting such as “Our food is life” “Unite the world through juice.” As I read the menu I discovered something more interesting. All their drinks and food products sold are fruit and vegetable products without any preservative. There were fruit salads made from watermelons, bananas, strawberries, and apples. There were also juices and smoothies such as the Nutty Professor.
I chose this one for obvious reasons, to test if it provided the kind of excitement one finds in the movie by Eddy Murphy.
Another surprise came while still waiting for my Nutty Professor juice. I thought it was already made and stored somewhere, but I had the opportunity of watching Ratie the juice maker prepare it, mixing apples, granola, bananas and ice.
Within about two minutes she was done and there I was drinking my naturally sweet yummy juice.
The taste was quite different, it was unexplainable, I could hardly separate the different tastes of individual fruits but still felt a smooth medley dissolve in my palates. The smooth flavours only ignited more curiosity and I decided to try more of their stuff and although it was difficult to decide which one to try next, I followed my instincts to order a chicken avocado sandwich.
For a healthy, mind blowing taste adventure, Health Generation is the place to go.
