Predator alert! Its reptile season

It goes as far back as the biblical times when the first reptile, a snake, deceived Eve into eating a forbidden fruit.  This spoiled the relationship of man and the creator and ever since then man and reptiles have been fierce enemies regardless of the species it is.

The situation escalated into a Tom and Jerry scenario.  Last weekend was the release of Jurassic World a detailed horrific description of this futile war between the two species.

After last year’s disastrous Godzilla attempt to showcase this bad relationship, 2015’s showcase is nothing but fireworks.

Jurassic World is a 2015 American science fiction adventure film directed by Colin Trevorrow.

It is the fourth instalment in the Jurassic Park series, and in this one the film unfolds around this plot: “After years of operating the Jurassic park with visitor rates now on the decline, in order to fulfil a corporate mandate, a new dinosaur attraction with exaggerated animal features is created to re-spark visitors’ interest, however all hell breaks loose when the animal unleashes itself out of containment”.

Meanwhile, to stop this vicious dinosaur the movie roped in Guardians Of  The Galaxy star Chris Pratt (Owen) to lead the line once again protecting civilisation. Amongst other stars of Jurassic World is Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire) the redhead is the park’s operation manager and plays a role in creating this vicious animal.

The movie experience absolutely ranks among the best this far in terms of 2015 releases. The reactions after the screening according to some even suggest that the so called two biggest movies of 2015 being Fast and Furious 7 as well as Avengers: Age of Ultron are way in the shadows of the Indominus Rex (Jurassic World predator).

First the film is on point because of the clear scenery as the events of this blockbuster unfold in the jungle, which set a lavish nature inspired picture quality that comes out beautifully in 3D glasses.

On a different note, we missed these sorts of films that are hell-bent on terror as Jurassic World dishes out an experience that gives you goose bumps.

For instance ever seen a grown man cry, this was the case when the Indominus Rex lab created killing machine made its way out of containment feasting on anything it comes across as the reptile took the war to man with some hiding beneath cars.

The film is a total knockout because it is a delight of fear I tell you.  Jurassic World stands out because unlike other films like Godzilla (2014) its surprise element is well orchestrated.  The movie gets you frightened yet thrilled to a point that you even forget to eat your popcorn.

This is simply as a result of the superbly done movie villain the Indominus Rex dinosaur that makes a bold statement like no other.  It is clever with capabilities that exceed normal animal behaviour because it is a hybrid made from the DNA of several predatory dinosaurs and it is just too unstoppable.

That was very innovative because they adapted the chameleon trait to make lethal huge reptile beast for this film.

A notable scene that left viewers stunned including yours truly is when it cleverly removed a tracking device mounted within it and then it spooked us all when it camouflaged with some trees before wrecking havoc on those hunting it.

The other dinosaurs particularly Owen’s little Velociraptors and the unique underwater dinosaur the Mosasaurus with the resemblance of a shark also gave the movie a bit of sting.

Enough with the reptiles, man also came to the party as this might be the best Chris Pratt performance, looking menacing as a fearless former navy officer turned dinosaur trainer.

As he was fearlessly leading the charge hunting the T.Rex with his raptors, which is justified by this statement from Zach telling Claire that “Your boyfriend is a badass. ”

So the action is simply just too much. The only animal freak movie that comes closest to Jurassic World is King Kong.  I remember that even now that ugly masculine Gorilla can still match Jurassic World. But Jurassic World is made awesome by the fact that it has many elements, which become catalysts.  For instance, the movie is full of twists that engage the audience and turn them into nerve wrecks so the thriller element is also hazardous.
