Butler plans Lesotho attack

The game starts at 3pm. Butler said his team is full of capable attacking young players and is expected to overcome their regional counterparts.
The team comprises mostly players who travelled to Uganda last weekend for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier where they lost 2-0. “I expect Lesotho to try and use home-ground advantage, but I will pick an attacking team.
“We have very good attacking team comprising of Makgantai (Onkabetse), Kabelo Seakanyeng, Dunga (Omaatla Kebatho) and Hendrick Moyo among others,” Butler said yesterday.
Gaborone United (GU) goalkeeper, Goitseone Phoko returns to the team after missing out on the trip to Uganda. He replaces Kabelo Dambe who is not eligible to play in the competition.
Butler said against Uganda they played for about 55 minutes before committing silly errors, which allowed Uganda to score. “It was a good finish by Massa (Geoffrey) who is without doubt a very good player. But we played well despite the pitch, which I feel was not up to standard. Lebogang Ditsile was outstanding in the midfield and so was Ofentse Nato,” he said.
He insisted that the door has not been closed on Mochudi Centre Chiefs midfielder, Lesego Galenamotlhale, although the player has not featured under the Briton.
Butler has picked up a 21-men team for the Lesotho trip. Extension Gunners striker, Thabiso Mabachi, Lopang Mosige of Orapa United and Township Rollers’ young goalkeeper, Keeagile Kgosipula return to the team.
They were called to camp ahead of the trip to Uganda before the squad was trimmed after the last week of preparations.
