Amantle dumps CFMG for Off Campus

The former My Star contestant left the company owned by DJ Chrispin due to disagreements with the stable’s executives.
The songstress has signed a two-year recording deal with the new company.
“It’s official that I have left CFMG for Off Campus Events as I was not happy with the way things were done that side,” she revealed. The Moratiwa singer complained that her former record label was not giving her ‘full attention’. Among her queries were that the company was failing to organise enough gigs for her.
She says that often she had to organise her own shows and also accused the stable of poor artist promotion and marketing. “When I travelled to Zimbabwe my former manager DJ Chrispin did not even do a follow-up to check how everything was going,” she alleged. The young artist is set to go on a national tour to promote her Moratiwa single. Amantle is busy working on her debut album, which is due for release in August this year.
DJ Chrispin said the reason they let Amantle go was that the musician was demanding services that the company could not offer. He said: “She left when things were now building up. We had organised a number of corporate gigs for her”. DJ Chrispin added that there were no hard feelings between him and the artist after her unceremonious departure. He has since advised the young woman to re-focus on building her career.
At Off Campus Amantle will be mentored by Mischelle Gaofano who has previously managed ATI and Wizards of the desert. Amantle is among the cast of a xenophobia movie that is being shot locally.
