The club will have an elective annual general meeting (AGM) on July 11 in Gaborone.

Incumbent, Fidelis Nkomazana and Ntona Ketsitlile, will contest the highest position in the executive committee being that of the presidency.  Nkomazana together with chairperson, Tymon Katholo have been part of the committee that was instrumental in transforming the club into privatisation.

They have also managed to bring on board their major sponsor, Old Mutual while the club’s clothing brand, 67EST has also been doing well. However, they face stiff competition from other GU faithful who had either served the club in other positions or as former players. Former club treasurer, Rapula Okaile is challenging Katholo for his position.  Former player, Gofamodimo ‘Lepholetha’ Senne has shown his interest to serve the club at administrative level.  Senne has submitted his name and will vie for the position of secretary general with Kennedy Ramojela. The position is held by Hebert Letsebe who will not be standing for elections next month.

The position of treasurer will be contested by Goitsemang Lonkokile and Nancy Borakanelo. The current treasurer, Kagiso Rantswaneng will not seek re-election.

The club has just come off a good season where they won the Mascom Top 8 and finished fifth in the league.
