Kosher Nights celebrate third anniversary in style

The upstairs venue was filled to the rafters with revellers who had come to celebrate with great sounds and mingling.
Kosher nights is a hip hop session that was incepted three years ago by Marked Men Entertainment and has cemented its place as the talk of town among young hip hop lovers.
Several DJs kept the audience on their feet with array of hip hop music that ranged from commercial rap, underground hip hop, Skhanda and new age kwaito.
Most revellers remained glued to the dance floor as they danced along to the electric tunes. DJ Ozzy the great raised the tempo on the dance floor with his skilful mixes.
He mixed vintage music from artists such as The Jackson Five with the latest hip hop.
Other DJs who showed off their skills on the deck are DJ Cupid, Unanimous 1 and Phouboy.
The music lovers were also treated to a special performance by rappers Chub Heightz, Staxxx and VH, who was also MC of the night.
There was also a gaming section where there were sets of Play Station 4 systems that were mostly dominated by male players.
The Kosher nights sessions’ anniversary celebration party brought fond memories to most revellers, who used to ‘turn it up’ at the hotel, before the hip hop monthly event was moved to Dros and later Cigar lounge.
The brains behind the hip hop sessions’, popular for hosting acclaimed hip hop acts, organised the ‘I love Hip hop’ show last year, which featured K.O. of Caracara fame, as well as Sasa Klass and Casper Nyovest.
