“Working in a pub inspired me to write this new track and I eventually recorded it,” he said. The track has a fresh RnB feel and some touches of funk. It was produced by Majick Keys Rick. It tells a story of a man who meets a single woman at a bar and offers her a drink.
“Seeing beautiful women always coming alone and getting drinks from random men who lusted after them led me to write the song,” he said. He is optimistic the single will be a club banger because it has direct connections with club life and partying.
The track is currently available for downloads on Phiri Jr II’s Facebok page. He has also distributed the track to radio stations across the borders in places such as South Africa and Zimbabwe.
His upcoming album, due for release on August 31, will be a mixture of genres such as Rave, Hip-hop and RnB.
