Police dominated right from the first set to the last set with Desert Kings struggling to match them. They won the first set 25-11. Police continued their dominance in the second set. By the time the two sides went into the second technical time-out, Police VI were leading 16-11. Desert Kings could not stop the physically powerful serves from Happy Ribbin who ensured that Police IV dominated and maintained a significant lead in the second set. Desert Kings tried to regroup in the third set, but found Ribbin on good form. After the game, Desert Kings coach, Alfred Moara said they have few players from the constituency league and hope that they improve as times goes. “We need a setter who can control the game. The Police side have good resources and they were a better team in the game,” he said. Police IV also defeated BDF IV 3-0 in another game played that day. BDF IV then went onto beat Prisons 4-1 before Kutlwano thrashed Spiking Stars.
