Decision time: Satmos and Notwane are keenly awaiting today's ruling

The ruling would settle the relegation matter with Satmos and Notwane keenly following proceedings.

If Satmos lose, they will join Letlapeng and ECCO City Greens in the lower division. But if the Cheetahs are successful, then they will be involved in a play-off match with Notwane to decide who goes down.

Satmos had filed a protest against Sankoyo arguing that Rudvivo was not properly registered when the two sides met early this year.

Sankoyo had beaten the Selebi-Phikwe side 2-1, and the latter in turn filed a protest questioning his registration.

Their argument was that his registration was not properly done because he allegedly did not have his International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) disciplinary committee (DC) ruled in Satmos’ favour and awarded three points and two goals.

Sankoyo, however, appealed the ruling, which has temporarily halted the finalisation of the Premier League table. As they sit dangerously on the log, both Notwane and Satmos are waiting anxiously for the outcome of the appeal.

Satmos are currently lying at position 14 with 29 points, while Notwane have 31 points in position 13.

The NAB is also expected to deliver a judgement in a case where Letlapeng protested the use of Mochudi Centre Chiefs captain, Pontsho Moloi.

Letlapeng have appealed the decision of the BFA DC where they fined Chiefs for the use of Moloi having accumulated three yellow cards. Letlapeng argue that the punishment is not sufficient and want Chiefs docked points.
