Miss Africa to launch in Ghana

The Miss Africa office, which is based in Botswana, is expected to launch the pageant in other African countries after the Ghana trip.
Miss Africa is the brainchild of Bruce Nkgakile.
Speaking to Showbiz, Nkgakile, Miss Africa CEO stated that he would be travelling to Ghana on Sunday with his entourage to the official signing and launch of the pageant. This follows the first launch in the country three weeks ago.
The Miss Africa license holder in Ghana is Miss Ghana 2010/11 of the Lumos International Foundation for Empowerment, a youth organisation based in Ghana.
“We have started to do official launches across the continent. Miss Africa Ghana has invited us for next week’s launch, after that we will be going to other countries such as Cameroon, Kenya and Ethiopia,” he said.
Nkgakile mentioned that he is looking forward to opening regional offices around the continent.
Nkgakile mentioned that after the Ghana trip they are set to travel to Lesotho where they will also officially launch the pageant, “Lesotho has requested we to come for the launch on August 22”.
The Miss Africa CEO stated that he will utilise these trips to mobilise more countries to participate in the pageant. All the participating countries are expected to have officially launched and registered for the pageant by March 2016.
Auditions for Miss Africa Botswana will commence in Molepolole at Lemepe Lodge from 8 am till 5 pm on Saturday. The auditions will be held in 10 different cities, towns and villages for a month and a few days.
Winning contestants from the auditions will take part in Miss Africa Botswana, which will be held on September 11 at Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC). The winner of Miss Africa Botswana will participate in Miss Africa that will be hosted in the country next year.
