Tladi are cricket champions

Waseem Tajbhay top scored with 43 to lead his side to victory. Captain Nabil Master and Karabo Motlhanka each scored 25runs. Vimal Joseph was the man of the match with four wickets for 14runs. Tladi won the toss and elected to bat with Motlhanka and hard-hitting batsman Zain Abbassi opening.
However, the growing partnership was shot-lived after Afzal Patel bowled out Abbassi for 18runs, breaking a 26run partnership.
Karabo Modise partnered his namesake, Motlhanka and the two added quick 30runs before Modise was trapped leg before wickey by Noor Ahmed. Modise scored 15runs before Tajbhay rescued the innings as Tladi finished on 156 for the loss of five wickets.
Ditlhase started their run chase slowly, losing wickets at regular intervals. Captain Sooraj Nair and Inzimam Master tried to rescue the innings, but Tladi’s fielding was top notch.
When Noor Ahmed came in for Master, he quickly formed a partnership with Nair, but Tladi bowlers did not allow them to accelerate. Ahjmed’s departure marked the end of Ditlhase’s hopes as they finished on 138runs. “Our batsmen stepped it up for us. We are expecting to be in the same form in the upcoming season,” winning captain, Master said.
