The Articles were headlined “Gantsi farms Prisons or Labour Camps?” and “Child Labour Rampant in Gantsi.”

The averments such as pertain to Mrs Dalene Henning and Mr Nico Henning and to Kentrek Feedlot are hereby retracted in total and we acknowledge that the dignity and standing of Kentrek and the Henning family in the community were negatively affected by the averments which, such as pertain to Kentrek and the Henning family, were and are untrue.

The allegations are withdrawn and we acknowledge that the publishing of the articles is a matter of regret.”

The Mmegi Newspaper hereby apologises unreservedly to Mrs Dalene Henning and Mr Nico Henning of Ghanzi, Botswana for the articles, which were published in the Mmegi newspaper of 23 July 2013.
