The energetic youth spoiled the audience with their beautiful dance moves from Hip Hop to Latin dance.

Most of the groups and individual dancers like 8th Lion, Boy Elf, Flex, Tamirira, Rubbertwist who could not seize to amaze revellers with their superb moves. Also Gecko and Bomb squad showcased different hip hop moves.

The show started off with spectacular dance moves from Hip Hop crew TNT who displayed the krump.

Krumping has increasingly gained popularity in Hip Hop and electronica circles because of the energy and freedom they encourage. It has four basic moves; jabs, arm swings, chest pops, and stomps. Dancers basically did anything they wanted to do with their bodies. Dancers displayed improvisational and expressive dance moves.  The dance style, krumping, has gained popularity among younger performers in the country.

Other Hip Hop groups sought to spoil the audience with their beautiful robot dances.  They made the youth who attended the event in great numbers scream in joy, while the parents who were present looked impressed with their children’s talent.

Robot dance is simply acting like a robot and doing stiff arm and head movements that often contrast with the smooth flow of the music.

“These children are really talented. Their moves are extraordinary and they seem boneless.  I don’t think I could dance like that at their age,” said one parent who seemed impressed with what the crews dished out.

Boogaloo, related to funk and its associated dance styles, was one of the popular dance moves amongst the crews. This dance involves ‘rolling’ of the limbs and twitching of the legs.

The dancers also treated the audience to B-boying or break-dance. TNT crew, which seemed to have stolen the show showcased their styles a couple of times. The crew also closed the event with its splendid performance as some of its members freestyled.

Amongst the beautiful performances was the Latin dance couple Star and Kema who danced to the rhythm. The couple left dance enthusiasts begging for more. La Dance (kids dance crew) did not want to be left behind as they showcased a fusion of contemporary and Hip Hop dance. The lads surely proved that they had a bright future ahead of them.

Psycho Kingz decided to be different from the other dance crews as they showed the audience how dance is done in Kasi with their energetic Isibijwa dance moves.

All the dancers made the show worthy with their tremendous energy and flexibility.
