The state alleges that the incident happened in December 1, 2013 at Block 1 location here.Inspector Alexander Phale applied for a warrant of arrest for Tabulawa to be issued because he was absent from court and did not give the prosecution reasons for his absence.

July told the court that they had a breakdown near Gweta on Wednesday when they were traveling to Francistown to attend court.

July said as such, Chengeta was not present in court because she had to watch over the vehicle that had broken down.He further told Principal Magistrate Sijabuliso Siziba that the state has not furnished him with witness statements.“The state is falsely implicating me for this offence just because of my name. I totally know nothing about this offence. I propose that a mention date be set in this matter before trial dates are set because we have not even taken plea in this matter,” said July.Rameno pleaded with the prosecution to tell him about progress made to apprehend other accused persons in the matter who are still at large.

Last year, Tabulawa appeared in court in a case in which three people allegedly stole goods amounting to P34, 150 from Maina Tina at Ntshe location here on June 19. Some of the allegedly stolen goods include Nokia and Samsung cell phones, Mascom, Be Mobile and Orange airtime.
