Public interest notice RE: Mr temo tau, Mr Frederick Mathibe and Noroc technologies

They apply a lot of tactics to gain people’s confidence and public sympathy, key amongst which, are misinformation, creating clutter for confusion and the propagation of being continuously harassed by DIS, which also serves to detract or divert attention from their activities/deeds.

They operate on the firm conviction that they are too smart to be caught.

Their activities are serious crimes that have grave consequences to the public, organisations and countries as they have an international footprint.

The public and organisations are heavily cautioned and advised not to let them near their computers as they hack and plant spyware.

My experiences with them as IT service providers, during which time I discovered their illegal conduct through the significant evidence in the computers, led me to report the matter to the police for further investigation and prosecution.

The evidence uncovered by myself is unequivocal and the culprits have resorted to confusing the public. It is my earnest hope that the authorities will act promptly and bring them to justice before they skip the country, con members of the public or perpetuate similar crimes in Botswana or elsewhere.

Having read The Weekend Post and Sunday Standard Newspapers of the 25 April and 26 April 2015, respectfully, it is important that the following are placed on record:

I have never been nor am I a member of the BDP, or participated in any of its internal politics.

I am not privy to any tender to the Botswana Police relating to a Safe City project as I am not involved, interested in or in any form active in fields/ professions relating to surveillance or security.

I am active in only one core area of business and that is agriculture and its supportive elements. Hence, I do not have direct or indirect business interests outside this sphere.

It is clear that the culprits are determined to entangle very clear issues that I have placed before the police with other matters that they have with other third parties that have nothing to do with me, in order to create a spurious motive for my actions. Whatever cybercrimes they may have  conducted on other parties in the past may have been difficult to prove unequivocally in court, but they now know that the evidence I have can have them incarcerated, and for a long time, due to the serious nature of the crimes- Hence the collateralisation of my matter in unrelated issues they have with other third parties.

I have never acted on the instruction or on behalf of DIS, nor have I purported to have been.

Recent efforts by the culprits and their lawyers to spring on me an urgent application that I would not be able to respond to in time and quickly followed up by sending said court documents to Newspapers and conducting interviews for the Newspapers should in itself be treated with caution by reporters and editors. It was a clear and calculated effort to trick the system into getting back the incriminating evidence and to get the newspapers to gleefully spread the web of confusion and defamation and to use the papers to create a smoke screen and solicit public sympathy.

Untruths will never prevail as the truth unravels and the respective authorities should accord this matter the diligence and urgency it deserves.

The culprits have committed one too many cybercrimes and knocked on the wrong address to commit their unlawful deeds and they know that the evidence is against them, hence the smoke screen, which I strongly suspect is a precursor to fleeing the country- something hopefully the authorities will prevent.
