Stanbic extends self service channels

The new services are aimed at enhancing the Stanbic Bank experience, with a view to adding a greater degree of convenience to customers’ lives. Says Stanbic Bank Botswana Head of Self Service Channels, Southwell Mbongwe: “Prepaid Electricity and DStv subscription services strive to make our customers’ daily burden of running errands just a little bit lighter. One can take care of these subscription and payment needs from the comfort of their own home or office, or even while on the go off their mobile phones.”

The offerings allow for the purchase of prepaid electricity vouchers for any BPC prepaid account and instant DStv subscription payment for any MultiChoice Botswana account quickly and safely. Upon completion of the transaction, the customer will receive an SMS confirmation of the purchased amounts, as well as a recharge voucher for Prepaid Electricity. This will allow them to recharge their BPC metres, while their DStv service will be restored instantly.

Both the Prepaid Electricity and DStv offerings are available to customers with immediate effect, and are available to all existing Stanbic Bank Botswana current account holders.
