Speaking to The Monitor, Chief Executive Officer, Phenyo Gothaang said that they needed to come up with something unique that his competitors do not offer to cater for their clientele.

“We had to find the best way to get back into the market and realised that people in Block 10 needed our services because our competitors are not there even though it is a suburb,” he said.

Their response service, which is one to three minutes, will be beefed up by the use of trained dogs when responding particularly during the night.

According to Gothaang, they decided to bring the sniffer dogs when responding to the alarm because they believe that usually thieves would still be around the vicinity adding that the dogs will patrol 500 metres.

“People use alarms to chase thieves, with sniffer dogs they will be possibilities of us recovering the stolen goods, and be able to trace and arrest the thief,” he said.

He further assured their clientele that they have a sophisticated alarm control room with fully flashed necessary requirements of the age to meet the standards of modern security alarm response and technology.

“Our control room uses current existing cellular network technology to receive intruder signals anywhere in the country.

We also have well trained technical resources to help with all types of intruder alarms,”

Gothaang also highlighted that they will be opening a training centre in two weeks time, which will be offering courses in basic security, security management principles, security leadership programme, introduction to risk management, introduction to corporate governance as well as forensic investigative accounting.

He added that their trainers are BOTA accredited and their courses are tailor-made for all.
