Segolame Boy (Rollers)

Township Rollers will once again rely on exciting attacker, Segolame Boy tomorrow in what is expected to be a tight contest.  Boy has been arguably Rollers’ best player this season. Relatively unknown just two years ago, last season he emphatically registered his name in the Premier League as one of the most promising players.

At that time, he was playing for Miscellaneous that ended up in the lower division.  This season he joined Rollers and immediately took the Premier League by storm.  He does not only possess silky skills, but is also technically gifted. He has also been scoring crucial goals for Rollers both in the league and the Mascom Top 8.  He is currently the joint top goal scorer in the competition with four goals.  Three of those goals were in one game against Motlakase Power Dynamos in the second leg of the quarterfinals.  He has proved beyond reasonable doubt that he has big match temperament as evidenced by his performances in the Zebras colours. He is expected to come up against Ofentse Nato who has vast experience in such crucial matches.

Benson Shilongo (GU)

For quiet some few years, GU supporters were already getting impatient with their team’s failure to recruit good foreign strikers.  This season they went all out to Namibia and spotted Shilongo. It did not take long before he proved himself and became the fans’ favourite at Moyagoleele.

Shilongo’s off the ball runs and clinical finishing has made him one of the most talked about forwards in the league.

An interesting battle is looming between him and Rollers’ central defender, Simisane Mathumo. Like Boy, he seems to flourish in big, difficult and crucial games.

He scored the only goal of the match in the second leg of the semi final against Nico United.  He will face his country mate, Jerome Louis who also arrived in Botswana without any notable reputation only to prove his worth within shortly thereafter time.
