Exciting line up for Summer Explosion

Summer Explosion, which started in 2011, is well known for hosting artists both local and international. It has previously hosted the likes of DJ Kent, Teargas and DJ Kuchi.
One of the organisers, DJ Kuchi, said that all has been set for the event, which is scheduled for the eve of Good Friday at Fairgrounds.
“I can assure you that it has been confirmed that all the artists on our posters will be performing on Thursday until the next morning,” he said. Artists expected to perform at the event include, Cassper Nyovest, AKA, Black Coffee, MMP Family, Zeus, Scar, Drama Boi, Team Distant, Naak Musiq, Trademark, Ricky Lamar, Fauz, Groovysouls, Chrispin the drummer and A.T.I.
DJ Kuchi said the event will start at 3 pm and end at 6 am the following morning. “We managed to get a licence that will permit us to host the show until morning,” he said.
He further mentioned that security would be tight. “We have 100 bouncers, 60 police officers and 200 security guards,” he said.
He further said they have invested P 1,000,000 to make the event a success. Summer Explosion has previously attracted more than 10,000 revellers from different parts of the country.
The veteran DJ mentioned that party lovers should expect a number of surprises during the event. The emcees for the night will be radio presenters DollarMac, T.H.A.B.O, Leungo (who is also a television presenter) and TV presenter Sadi. Tickets for Summer Explosion are already on sale at Liquorama and Dros.
