Amo resurfaces with Where stars hide

“Where stars hide; talks about overcoming life circumstances that one faces in life, generally it talks about a transition,” said the songstress. The track is a single from her upcoming album, which she has not yet named, that is coming out in September.

The track is already available on online music application Sound Cloud, “at the moment we have not yet opened the free download lines; you are only able to listen to the track with out downloading,” she stated.

She is planning on officially launching the track next month.

Amo also stated that in her upcoming debut album she is planning on working with a number of artists locally and internationally, she mentioned artists such as Yarona FM presenter- cum- musician Elte, Motswafere and South African singer Menoa.

The RnB artist told Showbiz that during her absence of three years she was on a journey of self-discovering herself in the music circles trying to find a genre where she fits in.“I ended up choosing RnB because it allows me to play around with my voice and it makes feel comfortable as a singer,” she added.

Motlhaping further said that after her appearance on My Star she could not directly venture into the music industry because she was still young and needed to learn about the industry before taking music as a profession.

“Due to my knowledge acquired from my business management studies and advisors I can now venture into the music industry without fear because I now know the proper channels that I have to follow,” said the former My Star finalist. She added that the reality TV show had given her confidence in her musical talent.  Motlhaping is set to share the stage with music guru Don Laka and The Soil during the ‘I am Legend’ concerts on May 29 at Molapo Piazza.
