UB Hawks beat Lesotho

 

The local side now is set to continue their good display in their next game against Swaziland on Thursday when they expect to be crowned champions of the mini-tournament. 

Coach Sepheko Motlhagodi said he was impressed with the team’s play.  “I am very impressed with how we played and will be looking to wrap up with a win against Swaziland,” he said.

Motlhagodi said the aim is to let the players enjoy their game and winning the tournament would be a bonus. Intervarsity Games are held to strengthen relations between the Universities of Botswana. Lesotho and Swaziland.

The last time Botswana hosted the games was in 2011. The competition started on March 6 and ends this Friday with universities competing in various disciplines.
