Re- grouping: Mochudi Center Chiefs and Letlapeng will replay their match after inclement weather forced the abandonment of their Sunday tie

The tie had to be called off on Sunday due to strong winds and inclement weather when Chiefs was leading 1-0 through a Keakabetswe ‘Mara’ Moloi goal.

The teams would play the match from scratch and all records, except cautions and dismissals, are nullified.

Chiefs lead at the top was cut to three points after Orapa United continued their impressive run with a 2-0 win away to Satmos. The Orapa side moved to 44 points while Rollers remained in third place after a crucial 2-1 away win over Sankoyo Bush Bucks.

The defending champions have a game in hand over Orapa United and are involved in the Mascom Top 8 against BDF XI on Friday.

Rollers are now a point behind Orapa United while Gaborone United roared back into contention with a 2-1 win over BMC in Molepolole. GU are now six points behind Chiefs, with a mouthwatering clash between the two still to come.

BDF XI failed to add further fire in their title chase when they ground to a 1-1 draw against Motlakase Power Dynamos. ECCO City Greens stay in the Premier League remains gloomy after a goalless stalemate against Police XI, while Notwane continued a late move up north with a 1-0 win over BR Highlanders.

Highlanders, ECCO and bottom placed Letlapeng occupy the last three relegation spots and are in danger of going out with seven games left. ECCO is left with eight matches.

Popular Lobatse giants, Extension Gunners recorded a 2-1 victory over Nico United to  clam their fans’ nerves while the Selebi-Phikwe side remains in danger on 20 points, level with ECCO.
