The ever-energised Vee had the fans follow his lead as he dished out some church hymns.  Along side him was Doctor Tawanda whose music career both as a singer and producer is on the rise. The duo performed to get the young crowd on the dance floor while the elderly preferred to stay on their chairs as they sang along.

The Seabelo’s Express Live Performance was a charity event held to raise funds for organisations such as Rrankoromane in Otse and Ramotswa Centre for the Deaf.

Sensational song bird Samantha Mogwe and jazz maestro Lister Boleseng also collaborated to good effect on stage, when they performed the songstress’ favourite number, Malaika.  iKalanga jazzman Ndingo Johwa and the enterprising Mafitlhakgosi Cultural Group added more spice to the event with some fulfilling performances.

Seabelo’s Express marketing manager, Tebogo Segaetsho, told Showbiz that the event will be held annually.

He said that as the giant in the transport and logistics sector, the company prides itself in being compassionate and caring and that they encourage the spirit of giving back to the community.

“We are not just focusing on making profit as a business, but also want to play the role of helping the community, hence we are constantly giving. In the past 10 years Seabelo Tlhaselo, the founder of Seabelo’s Express, has assisted various organisations locally and internationally,” he said.
