Uninspiring Miscellaneous inch closer to title

The visiting Miscellaneous played with caution bearing in mind that every team in the competition is out to frustrate their ambition of winning the title.
They eventually secured a seventh straight win that took them closer to the crown and automatic promotion to the top flight. They took full advantage when Ditibelo parried the ball back into play following a corner kick with Godiraone Segaise easily heading in after 28 minutes.
The goal was devastating for the home side that had dominated the game at Rutlwang Junior Secondary School. Tonota played with hunger only to be punished by an uninspiring Miscellaneous side.
Poor defence and lack of sharpness in front of goal worked against Mathew Mogocha’s charges. Goitsemang Kama and Obusitse Moiteela were the main culprits as they failed to convert clear-cut chances created by Tonota. For much of the game, Tonota camped in the Miscellaneous half, but failed to find the net. The two sides went for the breather with the visitors’ leading 1-0.
After the break, Mogocha introduced Emmanuel Mashaba for Moiteela in a bid to strengthen the front line. Less than five minutes later, Onneile Sepalo was thrown into the thick of things for an ineffective Rueben Sautu in the middle of the park. The light skinned Sepalo made an instant impact after winning the ball and releasing Kama who again failed to score.
Sepalo breathed some life in the Tonota game, but it was too little too late for the popular Sepondo se a debola. With 14 minutes to go, substitute, Walter Nyakuchena got the second goal for Miscellaneous.
Although he was happy with the three points, Miscellaneous’ head coach, Russia Chaba expressed concern that his boys are not inspiring. His opposite number, Mogocha said he will be focusing on shooting during training.
